Admitting Information

Admitting Information

Before you have that first labor pain, you need to know where to go and what to do when you get here. All mothers who are in labor should come to AnMed Health Women's and Children's Hospital on the North Campus. The hospital's main entrance to the hospital is on East Reed Road, across from the Anderson Area YMCA. Parking is available just outside the main entrance. There are designated spaces for expectant fathers and ample handicapped parking.

When you enter the hospital, turn left at the front desk and take the elevators to the second floor. You’ll see the admitting desk to the right next to the Labor and Delivery waiting room. If it's after hours, go straight to the Labor and Delivery nurses' station and a staff member will notify the nurse that you are here for admission.

You can expedite your admission by downloading pre-registration forms and your child's birth certificate worksheet. For additional admitting information, call the Admitting Office at (864) 512-1124.
